For some reason, I’m not very honored by this! Judge the person, not their paranormal genetic profile! That coupled with Drakes impending discovery lead them to place a hit on us set for Thanksgiving! In their eyes, it’s supposed to be an honor to die by their hand on that sainted day! The Guild had some respect for our mission but not the way we go about it. Most of the supernatural organizations we work with are in agreement about that. They were in fact responsible for at least a dozen attempts on his life and those of his friends over the centuries as they see all vampires as evil! Apparently, The Guild didn’t like how Mystic Investigations embraces all manner of supernatural entities if they want to fight for what is right. It was only in the preceding months that he was coming close to unraveling the secret of The Thanksgiving Guild. He was never able to piece them together as one source. We learned that Drake Alexander had picked up clues of the Guild’s existence over the seven centuries of his immortal life. Apparently, they and their mainstream casino brothers haven’t been trusted with the secrets of the hidden tribes. Our Native American Werewolf friends had heard various rumors of an organization that worked in union with Natives. He was a descendant of the Mayflower Pilgrims and he had an armada of information to extract! Calvin was deeply distraught over violating what he called, “The Mayflower Oath”. We now knew of the existence of The Guild and quickly informed all we knew in the supernatural community! The soldier’s name is Calvin Armstrong. Our Pilgrim prisoner was a hole poked in their protective insulation. They made the mistake of punishing him by sending him on this mission that was employed by one of their sub-societies. It seems he was a penalized member of the Thanksgiving Guild. Finally, with the aid of Rebecca’s magic, Drake Alexander’s vampire hypnosis, and Julia’s psychic probing we broke through his highly trained mental barriers. Just before he was going to take his puny pill he whispered, “Mayflower Forever!” The surviving soldier refused to respond to our interrogation at first. One member of their hit squad was hesitant to take his death pill and we were able to subdue him.
